If the request is accepted, the applicant may be required to take a challenge examination on a pass-fail basis. The examination fee is $50.00, paid in advance. If the applicant passes the challenge examination, the letter TC (Transfer of Credit) will appear on any transcript issued by the school.
A maximum of 50% of the applicant’s program may consist of transfer credits.

Graduates of ICT Schools Kikkawa College’s massage therapy diploma program in Toronto enter a thriving job market with strong demand for Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs). The Government of Canada’s Job Bank highlights a “good” employment outlook, driven by an aging population, increased integration of massage therapy into healthcare, and growing wellness trends. Most RMTs (80–95%) work in clinics, spas, hospitals, or sports settings, with starting salaries averaging 36,700–57,200 annually(≈28–45/hour). Self-employment is common, with 64–72% of Ontario RMTs building private or mobile practices, often earning higher incomes through commission structures (40–60% per session) or specialized services like sports or prenatal massage.
Career flexibility and advancement are hallmarks of the field.Graduates can pursue niches such as oncology or rehabilitation massage, supported by ICT’s focus on exam readiness for the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) The program’s accelerated Student-Centered Interactive Learning (SCIL) model prepares students to enter the workforce quickly, with high CMTO pass rates reported. Urban centers like Toronto and Halifax offer robust opportunities, where clinics and wellness centers face high demand due to turnover and industry growth.
Overall, ICT’s combination of practical training, certification support, and entrepreneurial skill development positions graduates for success.Whether in clinical roles, self-employment, or specialized practice, alumni benefit from Ontario’s expanding $5 billion wellness sector and nationwide recognition of massage therapy as essential healthcare.
